Profile Summary
She has published and presented more than 70 papers in journals and conferences during the last 34 years of illustrious Academic career. She has held several academic and administrative positions like Director of Regional Centre Payyannur and main centre Kalady and as the Head of the Department. She had participated as an expert and delivered Key-note Addresses in national and International Seminars and Chaired various sessions. She had conducted ten National Seminars and workshops [International and National level] as Co-ordinator. She had to her credit Six PhD Scholars and fourteen MPhil Scholars. Her expertise in popularising Advaita Vedanta Philosophy is noteworthy. Due to an excessive amount of dedication and hours of reading required for research, she could mould so many students in her way so that they could face the familial problems at ease. It could practise the so-called Ethics formulated by Vedanta school of thought and thereby developing a group of students who could be the pioneers in social upliftment through the study of the Philosophy of Advaita. She is a true devotee of the Practical Philosophy of Adi Sankara and she is trying her level best to interpret the same in tune with the current social atmosphere. It is a known fact that each philosophy has a core thing which can not be changed and there are also so many obsolete parts and has so many parts which could be interpreted in tune with the then present social conditions. She believes in holistic development and deep-routed nourishment of every student. Her activities really go beyond curriculum result in moulding universal student excel while facing the challenges of the modern world. Being the Director of the International School for Sree Sankara Studies she wishes to popularise the philosophy of Advaita to the whole world and thereby create a bunch of torchbearers of the philosophy of Advaita and which could dispel the darkness of hatred among the people and face the challenges of terrorism etc. Her life ambition is to mould a world devoid of enmity among the people.

SERVICE DETAILS ☞ Started carrier as Assistant Professor in Sanskrit at Seethalakshmi Achi College for women, Tamil Nadu, from 24/9/1984 to 22/8/1995. ☞ Lecturer in Vedanta Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Kalady from 23/08/1995 to 16/11/1997 ☞ Reader in Vedanta Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Kalady From 17/11/1997 to 16/11 2005 ☞ Professor in Vedanta Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Kalady From 17/11 /2005 still working as Professor& 1/5/2013 as HOD Department of Vedanta and continuing as Professor& HOD. ☞ Joined as Dean, Faculty of Indian Metaphysics-w.e.f 10/12/2015. ☞ Joined as Director Inter National School for Sree Sankaracharya Studies w.e.f 6/7/2018. Joined as Convenor Internal Complaint Committee on 14/1/2019.

Conducted Sanskrit Drsyasravyotsava during 5-7 April 2017 as Programme Convener Conducted Viva Voce for the MA Sanskrit Vedanta students of Sankara College Kalady, Sanskrit College Trippunithura July 10th, 11th July 2017, as a subject expert. Conducted CAS promotion for the Sanskrit Scholars of Calicut University on 19th July 2017, as subject Expert. Conducted Question paper Scrutiny meeting on 17th and 18th of August 2017as chairperson. Conducted Scrutiny for five faculty members for CAS promotion as Lady Representative. Conducted University Examinations during October November 2017as Chief Superintendent. Conducted open defense and public Viva Voce in respect of Mrs Rakhy.R.Prabhu on the topic Philosophy of Vadirajathirtha with special reference to Yuktimallika on 26yth October 2017as Chairperson.
