Started working in the Department of Music since 2004 .Has performed vocal concerts and accompanied many Classical dance recitals as vocalist for nearly 15 years, participated in many prestigious festivals like SOORYA Festival, Svaralaya ,Natyanjali etc.

Produced 33 Mphil Degrees and 2 PhD Degrees in Music . Received award for the best programme officer in the year 2014-15 ,at University level. Served as Co-ordinator of Agamananda Centre for Visual Culture &Aesthetics at SSUS, Kalady. Has been serving as head of the Department from 2018. Also organised seminars , webinars and lecture series . Presented papers in seminars and received best paper award in the International seminar organised by SVASH, Thiruvananthapuram.
